Strengthen the means of implementation and revitalize the global partnership for sustainable

Policy development

The SDGs aim to tackle complex and multidimensional challenges requiring structural changes; therefore, partnerships are essential. USJ has established relationships with governmental and non-governmental organisations for policy development. For example, USJ has promoted policy development by participating in the Rehabilitation International Asia & Pacific Regional Conference, presenting data on inclusive education, and also through the presentation of radical green architecture concepts, which are to enhance the surrounding Ilha Verde area through urban design improvements and as a way to envision new uses for the space.

Collaborations for the SDGs

USJ collaborates with a number of organisations for specific SDGs as part of our environmental and social outreach programmes. For examples, in 2021-2022 academic year, USJ collaborated with the British Chamber of Commerce in Macao to hold the “World Environment Day 2022”.
