ENSURE ACCESS TO AFFORDABLE, RELIABLE, SUSTAINABLE, AND MODERN ENERGY FOR ALL

EFFICIENT FACILITIES

Excessive use of fossil fuels is the major cause of climate change in the world today. At USJ we are committed to using alternative and cleaner energy sources, such as solar panels, and solar-powered water heating, and to reducing our energy needs through the use of low energy consumption and LED bulbs. Launched in 2019, our fully equipped Green Campus incorporates green technologies for the reduction of energy consumption, including solar power electricity panels, solar-powered hot water heating, energy recovery in ventilation systems and chillers, low consumption bulbs and LED bulbs, low transmission glazing, crossflow ventilation chimneys, rainwater harvesting and recycling systems, ledger green strips and fins, and rooftop gardens.

CLEAN ENERGY INITIATIVES

In the academic year 2023-2024, USJ highlighted the importance of affordable and clean energy by organising study visit and event providing insights into innovative technologies that convert waste into clean energy and renewable energy solutions, emphasising our commitment to affordable and sustainable clean energy.
