During 2018/2019, formal staff development sessions for QAE were provided, on an ongoing basis, to complement informal QAE development work across the University. The first series of formal training was conducted during the first semester of the academic year 2018-19; a total of 18 sessions, of which 9 were repeated in order to accommodate the availability of staff, were designed to provide staff with concrete, practical advice on how to address the element(s) of QAE in question. The second series of formal training was conducted in the second semester of the academic year 2018-19; with a total of 16 sessions, of which 8 were repeated, these were designed to move QAE forward from foundation to development.
